Synopsis
In The Cold Equations, pilot Barton is preparing for a vital mission to deliver serum to a remote exploration party on the planet Woden. As he readies his emergency dispatch ship, he receives a shocking revelation: a stowaway named Marilyn has hidden aboard. Unbeknownst to her, her presence complicates the already precarious mission, as the ship's fuel calculations are strictly based on its weight. With no room for error, Barton's heart sinks as he realizes the dire implications of her actions.
