Synopsis

In The Truth About Jerry Baxter, the narrative unfolds around a troubled teenager recently paroled from a correctional facility after being convicted of dealing narcotics in high school. Jerry Baxter, a product of a broken home, faces the daunting challenge of reintegrating into society while grappling with the demons of his past. The story is narrated by a juvenile investigator named McIntyre, who has taken a keen interest in Jerry's case, believing that the boy's circumstances are more a reflection of his environment than of his character.
