Synopsis

In The Man Who Couldn't Lose, we follow Leonard Snell, a seemingly ordinary man whose life takes an extraordinary turn over the course of a single day. The story opens with Leonard in a state of lethargy, caught in a cycle of gambling and failure, much to the frustration of his partner, Celia. Their relationship is strained as she bears the burden of their financial struggles, while Leonard remains apathetic, convinced that luck will eventually come his way. As the day begins, Leonard wakes up with a peculiar sense of optimism, feeling that something monumental is about to happen. He brushes off Celia's concerns and her demands for him to find a job, insisting that he feels 'swell' and that today is different.
