Synopsis

In this chilling episode of Suspense titled 'The Man Who Knew How,' the listener is drawn into a seemingly mundane train journey that quickly spirals into a dark exploration of morality and the human psyche. The story unfolds as Mr. Pender, a law-abiding citizen from suburban London, finds himself sharing a compartment with a fellow passenger. Their conversation begins innocently enough, discussing the tedium of night travel and the merits of detective stories. However, the tone shifts dramatically when they delve into the topic of murder. Pender, with an unsettling confidence, claims to know a method of committing murder that is both simple and undetectable. This revelation sets the stage for a tense exchange, as the other passenger, initially skeptical, becomes increasingly intrigued and disturbed by Pender's assertions.
