Synopsis

In The Customers Like Murder, the story unfolds in a quaint English village where the renowned mystery writer Gerald Hoxton and his secretary Patricia Phillips find themselves in a precarious situation. It begins on a hot summer night, with Hoxton immersed in dictating his latest detective novel to Patricia. Their banter reveals a light-hearted yet tense dynamic, as Patricia playfully critiques Hoxton's penchant for killing off political figures in his stories. The atmosphere is charged with creativity and the mundane frustrations of the writing process, but this tranquility is abruptly shattered when they are kidnapped by a group of masked intruders.
