Synopsis

In the gripping episode Two Sharp Knives from the classic radio series Suspense, the story unfolds in the small town of Dearwood City, where the night is thick with tension and the air buzzes with the aftermath of a late-night poker game. Assistant Police Chief Wally Shane is a seemingly bumbling but observant character who finds himself at the center of an unexpected murder investigation. The narrative kicks off just after 2 a.m., as Wally and Chief Scott Anderson stand outside the local coroner's office, discussing the arrival of a train that may bring unexpected visitors. Their light banter is interrupted by the arrival of the 211 train, which sets the stage for the unfolding drama.
