Synopsis
In the Stand By for Crime episode titled "The Tennant Jewels Stolen," Chuck Morgan, a newscaster at KLP in Los Angeles, prepares to attend a private showing of the Tennant jewels, recently inherited by the widow, Dora Tennant. The jewels, once owned by her late husband, Oscar Tennant, a movie mogul, are rumored to be worth half a million dollars. Chuck, along with his boss Pappy Mansfield and his secretary Carol Curtis, arrives at the Tennant estate, only to find the house unusually dark and seemingly deserted.
