Synopsis

In The Man on the Roof, Philip Marlowe finds himself embroiled in a complex case when he receives a frantic call from Senora Andrade, an elderly Spanish woman. She fears for her son, Pedro, who has recently been fired from his job at a fur warehouse owned by the wealthy Alex Brutcher. The situation escalates when Pedro is accused of murder after a confrontation with his former employer. Senora Andrade implores Marlowe to intervene before her son succumbs to a path of revenge.
