Synopsis

In Last Night, we meet Gil and Jackie, a couple grappling with the weight of financial despair as they face the imminent loss of their summer resort due to a $2,500 debt. The story opens with Jackie reflecting on their dire situation, feeling the pressure of their financial struggles. When Gil announces that he has secured the money, Jackie is initially relieved but soon becomes suspicious of the circumstances surrounding it.
