Synopsis

In the episode Ministers Courage, the Lone Ranger rides into the town of Freeland, where he finds Reverend Sylvester Lamb facing harsh ridicule and scorn from the local populace. The Reverend's attempts to spread a message of courage and morality are undermined by the antics of Vic Donlan, a wealthy rancher's son who leads a group of young men in mocking the minister. The townsfolk have misconstrued the Reverend's teachings, equating his pacifism with cowardice, and this has left him isolated and disheartened.
