In the episode Four Day Ride, the Lone Ranger and Tonto find themselves in the midst of a potential tribal conflict. Chief Thundercloud has called a meeting to discuss the threat of war, as tensions rise between his tribe and that of Graywolf. The masked hero waits outside the chief's lodge, accompanied by two dubious characters, Bart Daly and Shorty Crane, who are intent on stirring trouble. As the meeting unfolds, it becomes clear that Red Crow, a young and ambitious warrior, seeks to lead his people into battle to gain influence and possibly replace Thundercloud as chief.
