Synopsis
In The Wide Missouri, the Lone Ranger and Tonto are drawn into a perilous situation when they learn that a steamboat captain and his daughter are being held captive. The captain's strange behavior raises alarms, especially as they are transporting a significant amount of gold. The daughter, Betty, expresses concern over her father's recent changes, which seem to stem from his involvement with unsavory characters like Zach Terrell. As they navigate the river, the Lone Ranger senses that something is amiss and that the captain's life—and the gold—are in jeopardy.
