In Judge Thunder, the latest adventure of The Lone Ranger, Thunder Martin, a trusted ranch hand, is unexpectedly appointed as the new judge of the town. This decision comes as a surprise to Thunder and his friends, including Clarabelle Hornblow, who own a nearby cattle ranch. Despite his rough exterior, Thunder has a hidden past as a law student, a fact that few in the town are aware of.
