Synopsis
In Pedometer No 4, the Lone Ranger and Tonto ride into Frontier Town after successfully capturing a group of crooks. They decide to visit their friends Mustang Mag and Missouri, only to find Mag in a heated argument with Fenimore Tubbs, a notorious confidence man. Tubbs has swindled Mag out of $200 by selling her a half-interest in a gold mine that has turned out to be worthless. The Ranger realizes that Tubbs has likely sold the same fraudulent stock to many others in town, and he feels compelled to act.
