Synopsis

In the Lone Ranger episode Ranger Medicine, Dr. Bob Langdon returns to his hometown of New Hope after studying medicine in Chicago. Excited to start his practice, he quickly faces skepticism from his old friends, who remember him as just a cowboy. They doubt his abilities as a doctor, especially since the town already has a veterinary doctor, Doc Miller, who is often derisively referred to as the 'horse doctor.' Bob's determination to help those in need, particularly the struggling homesteaders, sets the stage for conflict.
