Synopsis

In the Gunsmoke episode titled The Brothers, the story begins with the arrival of two men, Jim and Will Thompson, in Dodge City. They present themselves as cattlemen looking to sell a herd they have driven up from the Pecos. However, U.S. Marshal Matt Dillon, played by William Conrad, senses something off about the brothers. Despite their polite demeanor, Dillon's instincts tell him that their true purpose in town is far more sinister than mere cattle trading.
