Host
A racketeer's son has lost faith in his own father and accuses him of being a crook! Carling tells the whole story to Britt Reid at the Sentinel. When his son is kidnapped, Carling finds he can't tell the truth after all. In a brief transition, the orchestra plays, "When You Wish Upon A Star," a famous melody from the Disney film ("Pinocchio"). The film itself wasn't released until February 7, 1940 in New York City. A good show, but the title above seems to have no relation to the story. It's possibly titled, "Bail Beats The Rap."
