Synopsis

In the Frontier Fighters episode titled General N A Miles, the story is set in 1890, two years after South Dakota's admission to the Union. A Paiute Indian named Wawoka, raised in a white household, experiences a divine vision that inspires him to teach his people a new way of living through a ghost dance. His message, initially one of peace and harmony, is soon corrupted by a disgruntled chief named Short Bow, who sees an opportunity to incite violence against white settlers. As the ghost dance movement spreads, it ignites a fervor among the tribes, leading to a mass exodus from the reservations and a looming threat of war.
