Synopsis

In Captain George E Pickett, the year is 1859, and tensions simmer on San Juan Island, where American farmer Lyman A. Cutler finds himself in a dispute with British representative Charles A. Griffin. The conflict ignites over a pig belonging to Griffin that has been causing havoc in Cutler's potato patch. Cutler's frustration escalates as he confronts Griffin, demanding that he keep his pig away from his crops. Griffin, however, dismisses Cutler's complaints, insisting that the land is British territory and threatening legal action.
