Synopsis
In Three Skeleton Key, the story unfolds in a remote lighthouse off the coast of French Guiana, where the atmosphere is thick with tension and foreboding. The narrator, a lighthouse keeper, describes the isolation and the oppressive heat that surrounds them, painting a vivid picture of their precarious existence. Alongside him are two companions: Louis, the taciturn head man with a formidable presence, and August, a talkative hunchback with a theatrical past. Their days are filled with the monotony of light tending, but that monotony is shattered when a ghostly derelict ship appears on the horizon.
