Synopsis
In The Big Test, the story begins with Bruce Hamilton entering the Los Angeles homicide department, visibly shaken and injured. He reports that his best friend, Kevin, has been murdered by bandits during a camping trip in Mexico. The detectives, Joe Friday and Frank Smith, are immediately drawn into the gravity of the situation as Bruce struggles to recount the harrowing events that led to his friend's death.
