Synopsis
In The Big Bunco, Sgt. Friday finds himself with a new partner, Bill Lockwood, after the temporary departure of his previous partner, Ed Jacobs. The two detectives are assigned to the Bunko Detail, where they are faced with the challenge of apprehending a seasoned con-man named Russell Preston. Preston has been operating in their city, swindling unsuspecting victims out of over $8,000 by selling them businesses he does not own. As Friday and Lockwood begin their investigation, they quickly realize that time is of the essence; Preston is a slippery character who could vanish at any moment.
