Synopsis
In the episode Marionettes, Inc. from Dimension X, set in the year 1990, we meet Walter Brailling, a man feeling suffocated by his marriage to Gloria. He reminisces about the early days of their relationship when there was passion and excitement, but now he finds himself yearning for freedom. During a conversation with a bartender, Walter reveals that his wife has become overly affectionate, which he finds overwhelming. Seeking a solution, he turns to a revolutionary technology that allows him to purchase a humanoid robot that can impersonate him.
