Synopsis
One Came Through opens in Boston in June 1774, a city gripped by tension and uncertainty following the Boston Tea Party. William Dawes, a local tanner, is acutely aware of the danger surrounding him as he watches British troops invade his shop, searching for hidden weapons. He and his clerk, Peter Gadsden, engage in a clever exchange to distract the soldiers while they hide a cannon from view.
