Synopsis
In Slate's Stolen Identity, part of the Bold Venture series, Slate Shannon and his partner Sailor find themselves embroiled in a web of intrigue when they agree to pick up a passenger from the S.S. Paloma, a freighter docked in the vibrant city of Havana. The promise of easy money—three hundred dollars—lures them into the job, but the mysterious nature of their client, Louis Gaspar, raises immediate red flags. Recently deported from the States, Gaspar's reputation as a gambler precedes him, and Slate is wary of the trouble that often accompanies such characters.
