Synopsis
In The Will, the 21st Precinct is abuzz with the usual hustle of police work when a call comes in from Mrs. Catherine Neal, the landlady of a reclusive tenant named Edwin Lowfield. She reports that she hasn't seen him for several days, which is unusual for the man who has lived in her brownstone for over six years. Concerned for his well-being, she approaches Patrolman Vaccaro, who is tasked with investigating the matter. As he listens to her account, it becomes clear that Lowfield is a solitary figure, rarely interacting with others and maintaining a strict routine of leaving his apartment each night without fail.
