Synopsis

In the Whistler episode Three Minus One Equals Murder, the story begins on a stormy night on the outskirts of Los Angeles. Matt Blake, an airplane mechanic, encounters Sylvia Sanford, a singer stranded with a flat tire. Their meeting is charged with tension as Sylvia, desperate for a lift, invites Matt into her world, which is filled with glamour but also shadows of discontent.
