Synopsis

In the episode To Rent Danger from The Whistler, Danny Pearson, a star reporter for the Cincinnati Gazette, is dispatched to cover the escape of a notorious gang murderer known as Killer Carter. As he drives north to Columbus, car trouble forces him to stop at a lonely farmhouse for the night. The atmosphere is eerie, with the farmhouse feeling large and dingy, and the woman who runs it is less than welcoming.
