In the Whistler episode 'Christmas Bonus', we meet Michael Cobb, a man striving for redemption after serving time in prison. Now out and working at a department store, he is eager to embrace a new life filled with love and hope, especially as Christmas approaches. His wife, Elaine, supports him wholeheartedly, and together they dream of a brighter future. Michael is proud of his progress, celebrating six months of steady work without being late. The festive atmosphere around him seems to promise a Merry Christmas, a stark contrast to his previous experiences.
