Synopsis
In The Doctor Prescribes Death, Professor Arthur Rugby is a psychologist with a controversial theory: he believes that a person contemplating suicide can be swayed to commit murder instead. This idea, however, is met with skepticism by his publisher, Mr. Hellman, who dismisses Rugby's work as fanciful and illogical. Frustrated by the lack of support for his theory, Rugby storms out of the meeting, determined to prove his hypothesis.
