Macao Decision Pending delves into the historical and political complexities surrounding the territory of Macau, a small enclave that has been under Portuguese control for nearly 400 years. The episode opens with a passionate call from Chinese students in Chungking, demanding the return of Macau to China. They argue that the territory, acquired through treachery and deception, represents a significant stain on China's sovereignty and a symbol of the unequal treaties that have marred its history.
