This program is announced as Charles Laughton's first dramatic radio appearance in America. That's not quite accurate. Three times previously Mr. Laughton appeared on NBC programs heard in America; however his portion of these programs originated from London. A proper British butler finds himself achieving a sense of equality in the wild American west. The last show of the season. The story was produced again on The Lux Radio Theatre on September 10, 1951 (as "Fancy Pants," see cat. #53026).
