Synopsis
In The Little Red Schoolhouse, Jim Hudson is filled with anticipation as he prepares for the arrival of his fiancée, Mary Stevens. Having worked hard to establish his ranch in the cattle country, Jim hopes that Mary's arrival will not only bring joy to his life but also help fulfill the community's need for education. He has convinced her to come west under the impression that she will be the new school teacher, a position he has fought to create for her. However, Jim's excitement is tempered by the looming threat of Silas Markheim, a rival rancher who has his own designs on both the land and Mary.
