Synopsis
In the gripping episode Race for Life, we find Miranda Perkins, a determined ranch owner, adamantly refusing to allow the railroad to cross her property. Her lush grazing land is her pride, and she believes that the arrival of the railroad will disrupt the peaceful life she has built. Despite the pleas from local businessmen who see the railroad as a pathway to progress for the town of Viewpoint, Miranda remains resolute in her decision.
