Synopsis

In the episode Change for the Better, the Lone Ranger and his faithful companion Tonto embark on a mission to capture a notorious bandit known as the Dude, who has been committing robberies in the Pecos area. The story unfolds as Rufus Van Porte, a cattle buyer, expresses his reluctance to send his adopted son, Ted, to the West for cattle buying, fearing that the boy might not return. Rufus reveals a secret: Ted is not his biological son but was adopted after being found abandoned on a stagecoach. This revelation sets the stage for the intertwining fates of the brothers.
