Synopsis
In The Prodigal Sheriff, the Lone Ranger and Tonto are drawn into a brewing conflict in a small town where a newcomer, Ben Masters, has ambitions to become sheriff. Masters, who claims to have a history as a lawman, is met with skepticism by the locals. Tonto, ever observant, notices something amiss about Masters and recalls his past affiliations with notorious outlaws. As the election draws near, the town's current sheriff, John Bennett, is aging and struggling with his eyesight, raising concerns about his ability to serve.
