Synopsis

In Old Mike's Story, the narrative centers around Mike Hanlon, who has moved west with his daughter Carol and her husband Jim Carter. Feeling out of place in the rugged landscape of the West, Mike longs for the familiarity of the East and the old country. His only comfort comes from sharing stories with his young grandson, Tommy, who eagerly awaits bedtime tales. Mike struggles to come up with new stories, but he eventually decides to tell Tommy about the legendary Lone Ranger, a figure he claims to have encountered during his own adventures.
