Synopsis
In the Lone Ranger episode titled Special Deputy, the story unfolds in the town of Gunstock, where the legendary masked rider and his faithful companion Tonto arrive to assist in restoring law and order. The town is under the oppressive control of Dude Markheim, a crooked gambler who has gained power during the inactivity of the former sheriff, Old Calamity. Old Calamity, now confined to a chair due to age and rheumatism, is proud of his son Tom Jackson, who has returned from the East to take on the role of deputy and uphold the law.
