Synopsis

In the episode On Parole, Billy Dunbar finds himself unexpectedly released from prison after serving only six months of a two-year sentence for cattle wrestling. The warden informs him that someone has taken an interest in his case and gathered evidence that warranted his parole, though it does not come without strings attached. Billy is warned that if he misbehaves or commits another crime, he will be returned to prison to serve out the remainder of his sentence. Eager for a fresh start, he takes a job driving a stagecoach for Jim Wheeler in the town of Falstaff.
