Synopsis
In Valley of Death, the story begins with rancher Jed Harrow addressing a group of local ranchers about the encroachment of farmers, known as nesters, on his land. Harrow proposes a controversial plan to build a dam at the head of the valley, which would deprive the farmers of water and force them to abandon their homes. Despite the sheriff's warning against violence, Harrow's determination to protect his interests sets the stage for conflict.
