Synopsis

In Bird Flying Home, the Lone Ranger and Tonto arrive in the town of Painted Forks, a crucial waypoint on the Oregon Trail, just as the skies darken with flocks of Passenger pigeons. The ranchers are divided; some want to protect the birds while others are eager to hunt them for profit. The tension escalates when rancher Brandon confronts a group of men intent on slaughtering the pigeons, arguing that such actions threaten the future of the species.
