Synopsis

In The Public Eye, George Valentine receives an urgent letter from Mrs. Pearson, the wife of Feral Pearson, a well-known politician. She implores George to help protect her husband's reputation, which is under threat from a blackmailer. The couple's high-profile status makes them vulnerable to public scrutiny, and Mrs. Pearson fears that any scandal could ruin their lives.
