Synopsis

In The Next to the Last Guest, George Valentine is approached by a dying old man named Mr. Sturman, who hires him to oversee the distribution of his wealth after his passing. Sturman, a cantankerous yet insightful figure, has spent his life observing the people around him and is determined to leave his fortune to three individuals who he believes deserve it. However, he is acutely aware of the secrets and hidden agendas that often accompany money, particularly among those he intends to benefit.
