Synopsis
In the episode The Burglar of Blackpool from Incredible but True, listeners are introduced to a baffling bank robbery that takes place in Blackpool, England, on August 6, 1926. The Midland Bank, known for its sound reputation, becomes the center of a strange incident when Mr. Lloyd Fenwick, a regular client from the Corporation Tramways Department, enters the bank with a large bag containing 800 pounds in treasury notes. As he interacts with the cashier, he mentions that the bag has a unique lock that only he can open, setting the stage for an extraordinary mystery.
