Synopsis
In Quince's Capture, Captain Lee Quince is drawn into a poignant conflict as he learns of the dying wishes of his old friend, Red Horse, a Native American chief. Red Horse's son, Snowfoot, is a young Indian who is at a crossroads, torn between the traditions of his people and the encroaching influence of white settlers. Red Horse, aware of his impending death, hopes that Quince can reach Snowfoot and steer him away from a life filled with bitterness and violence. The stakes are high; if Snowfoot continues down this path, it could lead to disastrous consequences for both him and the settlers.
