Synopsis

In the heart of Borneo's dense jungle, The Out Station introduces us to Mr. Warburton, a fastidious Englishman who has settled into a life of solitude at a Government Control Station. His routine is disrupted by the arrival of Alan Cooper, a new assistant whose shabby appearance and casual demeanor starkly contrast with Warburton's meticulous nature. Warburton, accustomed to the quiet and order of his isolated existence, feels a sense of unease at having another white man in his midst, which stirs up feelings of resentment and superiority.
