Synopsis
In The Iron Mountain, the story begins with a stark warning from J.G. Munson, vice president of the United States Steel Corporation, about the impending depletion of iron ore reserves in America. With only twenty years left before the country runs out of quality ore, Munson urges his colleagues to initiate the most extensive search for iron ore in history. This urgent call to action sets the stage for a daring expedition into the jungles of Venezuela, where a promising lead has emerged.
