Synopsis
In This Little Plot of Ground, we meet a young Ralph Waldo Emerson, played by Cornell Wilde, during a pivotal moment in his life in December 1828 Boston. Emerson is at a crossroads, faced with the opportunity to become an assistant pastor at the Second Church, a role that his family, particularly his Aunt Mary, strongly encourages him to accept. However, Emerson feels unprepared and uncertain about his capabilities, revealing a deep-seated struggle with self-doubt and the expectations placed upon him.
