Synopsis
In The Day They Gave Babies Away, we meet Robbie, a young boy living in a small town on the Fox River in Wisconsin. The story begins on a Christmas morning filled with the promise of joy, yet Robbie's family is facing significant challenges. His father has passed away, leaving his mother to care for Robbie and his siblings. As the family struggles to make ends meet, Robbie's mother is overwhelmed with work, sewing clothes to support the family. Despite the festive season, the atmosphere is heavy with worry and fatigue.
