Synopsis

In The Petticoat Jury, Euphemia Prescott arrives in a rugged frontier town, ready to take on the role of schoolteacher. However, her arrival coincides with a grim discovery: a man hangs lifeless from a tree, a victim of vigilante justice for allegedly stealing a horse. The sheriff, Royce Emory, informs her that the man was never given a trial, a fact that horrifies Euphemia and challenges her beliefs about justice and morality.
